How we work

FAQs

  • Chef Amanda will come to your kitchen for 1 full day (roughly 10am-5pm) to cook meals that would last 5-7 days.

After we receive your deposit or full payment, you will be sent a questionnaire regarding your food preferences.

We’ll create your personalized meal plan, and you’ll have the opportunity to review and make any adjustments. Once everything is finalized, Chef Amanda will come to your home to bring it to life in your kitchen!

  • Currently, we serve Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx.

For areas outside of those boroughs such as NJ and Westchester county, there is an additional transportation fee.

  • Please give us at least 7 days in advance.

  • Our rates vary based on number of people, children’s ages (if applicable), type of meal plan and frequency of service. On average, pricing is approximately $400-$475 per adult per week, plus NY sales tax. Please contact us for a custom quote.

  • We will go through a list together of materials and ingredients. We typically supply the “primary ingredients” for dishes. You would provide the basic ingredients such as salt, pepper, oils, some spices etc.

We do not provide cleaning materials and kitchen materials such as tin foil, plastic wrap etc.

Regarding utensils and equipment: We would use your kitchen utensils and equipment. In some cases, we may bring our own items (for example, something small and uncommon like piping tips).

  • Our dishes are based on your dietary restrictions and preferences. You would fill out a questionnaire and we would create a meal plan based off of your answers.

Most of our clients are families, so we cook a lot of family-friendly meals such as lasagna, roasted veggies, dumplings, Greek-style roasted chicken, etc.

  • We cater to almost everything - whether you are dairy-free, gluten-free, postpartum, etc, we create a plan that fits your needs.

Please note that we only cater to “simple requests”, such as “vegetarian” or “lactose-intolerant”. We do not cater to a long list of detailed and extremely specific requests.

  • We primarily shop at Whole Foods. Depending on what the dishes are, we may also shop at Costco, H Mart, Trader Joe’s, and small speciality shops. Sometimes, we may shop in local farmers markets or in farm stores upstate.
